Take the ferry to Cristom:

Directions From Portland

  • - Take Interstate 5 SOUTH to EXIT 263
  • - Turn RIGHT at the end of the exit ramp and drive about 1-1/2 miles
  • - Turn RIGHT at the ‘T’
  • - DRIVE about 4 or 5 miles,
  • - Shortly after a sweeping ‘S’ turn (first RIGHT and then LEFT)
  • you’ll see a sign on the RIGHT for the WHEATLAND FERRY
  • - Take a LEFT just after the sign and drive about 1/4 mile
  • - BOARD Ferry, pay $2
  • - Drive off Ferry and through the hamlet of Wheatland
  • until you come to a ‘T’ @ Wallace Rd. aka OR 221-- (It’s about 1 mile).
  • - Take a LEFT and drive about 4 miles
  • - Take a RIGHT onto Hopewell Rd.
  • - Drive about 200 yds and then make a LEFT on Spring Valley Rd.
